About the project
Compliance in European fintech is often caught between slow, manual reviews and rigid, legacy rule engines. Cedony Consultancy Services developed the BaFin-Aligned KYC/AML Compliance Verification Agent to deliver a enterprise-grade solution built for regulated environments. The agent ingests complex onboarding documentation, unwinds intricate Ultimate Beneficial Owner (UBO) corporate structures, and cross-references global sanction lists against BaFin and GwG regulatory frameworks. By utilizing a multi-agent architecture paired with strict, deterministic guardrails, the agent reduces onboarding review times by over 80% while producing fully auditable, time-stamped decision logs. Engineered with human-in-the-loop controls in alignment with the EU AI Act, it provides financial institutions with the speed of GenAI and the certainty required by banking supervisors.
